Just like every year, this year too, ISKCON Towaco welcomed the New Year with lots of joy, laughter, and devotion. The temple was packed with devotees, all in high spirits, ready to bid farewell to 2024 and step into 2025 with prayers and gratitude.
The Highlight of the Evening – “The Spiritual Operator”
For the past few years, the New Year’s Eve celebration has been incomplete without the much-awaited comedy drama – and this year was no different. The 45-minute play, The Spiritual Operator, had everyone laughing while also giving a deep spiritual message centered around the diverse needs of the community and the necessity of compassion and care for all.
Fun, Games & Prizes!
After the drama, it was time for some friendly competition. Winners took home prizes and attempted to stay humble in spite of feeling a tinge of "bragging rights" creep in!
New Temple Progress Presentation
A special presentation on the progress of the new temple was given, and devotees were appreciative of the ongoing efforts. It was inspiring to witness the hard work and dedication of so many devotees coming together to make Krishna's new home a reality.
Midnight Snacks – A Delicious Ending!
No festival is complete without prasadam! Everyone relished a sumptuous prasadam meal, along with some tasty snacks as the clock struck midnight. It was the perfect way to start the new year—nourishing both body and soul.
Looking Back & Moving Forward
As we closed the chapter on 2024, devotees gathered together to thank Their Lordships for a wonderful year filled with festivals, Rath Yatras, and countless spiritual events. With hearts full of gratitude, everyone prayed for an even better 2025, filled with more opportunities for seva and devotion.
Next Stop – Gaur Purnima!
But there’s no resting yet! With the New Year celebrations behind us, we now gear up for Gaur Purnima! The excitement has already begun, and preparations are in full swing.
