The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was founded in 1966 By His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, who came from India on the order of his Spiritual Master to preach love of God. He started a spiritual revolution of devotion and compassion and taught us that Krishna Consciousness is a process of self-purification. Its means and end are an open secret. This Society is dedicated to awakening the world to the normal, ecstatic state of Krishna Consciousness, so that all may regain their eternal position of serving Krishna. As the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness is non-sectarian, anyone can become better in their faith by chanting the Holy Name of God. It is sublime and easy.1

ISKCON of Towaco, New Jersey was established in 1981. It is the home of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Sri Sita, Rama, Laksman, Hanuman and Srinathaji. Over the years, we built a beautiful congregation of devotees serving Their Lordships and the community together, proudly and ecstatically. We continue to actively engage in book distribution, serve sumptuous food (prasadam), provide bhakti yoga training as well as in-depth bonafide spiritual education through various courses, seminars, and events. Our Sunday School is comprised of >100 children who learn about Krishna's past-times, participate in Bhagavad Gita discussions, cooking workshops, arts and crafts, theater, drama, music, singing, and more.
